Results from Statutory Assessments

Statutory assessments are used to provide families with a way of comparing the success of each school in achieving key outcomes in Year 6, Year 4, Year 2, Year 1 and Reception.  We are very proud that we consistently achieve above the national level in all areas.

These assessment points also allow families to compare the outcomes of North Wootton Academy with surrounding schools through the following government website:

End of Key Stage 2 Assessments

These aim to measure the successful education of the pupils in the core subjects at the end of their primary education. This measure is completed through three formal sets of written tests and a portfolio of written work, which is assessed against a set of writing standards.

The measures look at the number that reach the expected level, those achieving a high level (Greater Depth), as well the average score achieved, with 100 need for the expected level and 110 for those working at greater depth.

The government can also provide a progress measure to demonstrate how much the pupils have progressed from Year 2 to Year 6. However, these pupils were experiencing lockdown when completing their end of Year 2 and therefore, it is not clear if progress data will be provided.
