Within any school the learning, (and the opportunities for learning) is of course one of the most important aspects.
Whilst England does have a National Curriculum which sets out the expected areas for learning for each subject, in each year group, it is down to the school to decide the exact content and approach that it takes in achieving these.
In addition, every school teaches a unique group of children, each needing to ensure that they achieve academic success. For pupils with a special education need, it is important that the school is clear on how these can best be supported to enable all to be successful within the education that it provides.
Finally, it is a strong belief at North Wootton Academy that learning extends far beyond that which takes place in the classroom as we look to develop the child as a whole.
